who sells stock-replacement short blocks?
 

I am looking for a direct-replacement stock LT1 short block, but can't seem to find anything. The local parts stores sell the longblocks, but I will want to upgrade the heads and cam on it, so that would be a waste of the stock pieces... or I could buy those, but I wouldn't make back the cost by selling stock heads and a cam. Any suggestions? (Already checked Golen, way too much for what I want and too much $$$)

do you mean stock cubic inches or stock cubes and stock rotating assembly?. the guy i bought my engine from sells stock cube shortblocks on ebay. (with better parts in them)

stock cubes and rotating assembly. Looking for something that's DIRECT replacement.
