Default tps sensor will not go over 3 volts, wot. problems?update found problem.need advice

I've got a question. I put on a new holley 58mm. t.b. on my ported intake about 8 months ago. I noticed that my tps sensor reads .56v at idle. but when I push it down to the floor only goes to 2.60v and when I really mash it as hard as I can it only goes to 3.07v.. would this cause any running problems?

when Im cruising down the highway the map sensor will read like 2.6v and the tps is always 1 volt lower than the map... the map will go to 4.5-5v. when I go wot. so Im kinda worried about the tps. it is a new one. I never slotted it. I don't even know how to do it, do I need to do it? thanks for any help.

Check to see if the tb is opening fully. Remove the throtle cable and open the tb blade with koeo and check your scanner. If it reads 4.6-4.7V then the problem may be in the cable or paddle.

Yes if the voltage is off it can cause issues. My car shifted like it was on cocaine and almost broke my back due to a bad TPS. If I remember right it should be at .45-.55 V at idle and around 4v @ wot? Please correct me if I am wrong it's been a while since I had this issue.

I will def. check these out. and now Im being told that with the holley t.b.'s. that I need to slot the mounting holes on the tps to make adjustments. so I'll look into that also..thanks..

Default Update Found Problem

Update I found the problem, it's my tv cable.
about 2 weeks ago, I had my new tranny and stall put in, the shop talked me into putting a new tv cable on, only charged 20.00 for the cable, I prob. didn't even need it. anyway I traced it as the problem, when I take off the tv cable off the t.b. bracket, I can push down on the gas and the tps sensor will go to 4.40v and the throttle angle will go to 100%, when I hook up the tv cable the tps will only go to 3.07v and 60% on the throttle angle. they had about 5 inches of steel cable hanging off the end of the tv cable where it hooks up to the t.b. but like a fool I cut it off because it looked like crap, I bet that was how they would prob. adj. it, so now Im prob. going to have to get them to put on another one...

one more question, prob. a stupid one, will it hurt performance, since the t.b. blades are only opening 60%, no wonder a pretty much stock mustang gt gave me a pretty good run from a 50punch. It did feel stronger before I had this tranny put in...

Yeah it will hurt performance. Not going to full voltage is like accelerating with the pedal down only half way.
