4.10's or nitrous i have a full bolt on m6 lt1...should i get 4.10's or 125 shot..just curious.. |
4.10's id say since you cna use it all the time. I hear the 10 bolts don't last very long on sticky tires and the 6 speeds since its a weaker ger. |
My 4.10s are holding up, I had them mikronited and am running a thunder racing girdle. I don't have very sticky tires though. Car is fun to drive with the 4.10s. A lot of fun. If I ever get my Racetronix fuel pump in and my nitrous situation situated, I'm sure I would tell you at that point to get both. :judge: But if you can get only one I would get the 4.10s. |
4.10s will put an extra "pep" in your step. go with those, you will like gears. |
I have both 4:10's and a 150 shot...you really need stickys on the street if u plan to do any street racing...they are alot of fun...gas milage goes down 6th gear 60mph 1600rpm :chug: |
u'd probably be faster with the 125 shot than with the 4.10s but 4.10s u can enjoy all the time. |
id say 4.10's... mileage as stated earlier will go down, but shouldnt be that much. in my ls1 im at 2000RMP @ 80 ... 2600 @ 100 in 6th. You will just want to learn to shift around 2k, to help compensate for the loss for mileage. |
4.10s! |
4.10 fo' sho'!! |

nitrous then get the gears later. |
Gears! |
I'd say the nitrous and save up for a 9 inch, 12 bolt, or S60. Getting gears for the 10 bolt is kind of a waste if you plan on changing the rear any time in the near future. |
