Will my flowaster hurt hp with headers and a cutout
im planning on getting headers, and a cutout on my 93 z28. I have a 2 chamber flowmaster muffler with a hi flo cat. Will just having a muffler and not a full catback hurt power output from my headers, or will the cutout makeup for my crappy muffler?
Alos wondering what kind of power i should pickup from longtubes and a cutout?
My goal is 12.9s, i currently run a 13.8 @ 98, witha 2.0 60 ft, my current mods are
Flowmaster muffler
hi flo cat
k&n Fipk
airfoil
tb bypass
royal purple fluids
180 therm....new
What else would i need to run 12.9 may get drag radials

I dont understand what youre asking.
It does not matter what exhaust your running if you have a cutout.
When its open, all your exhaust exits through the cutout, you could have a bubble maker for a muffler and it would not make a difference.
With LT's on there, the cutout open and a good tune, .3-.6 tenths is what I have seen personally.
And daniel6718, the electric waterpump is a good mod, but I know two people on here that got it and have bolt on cars, and it made very little to no difference. But your recommendation of Drag Radials is right on the money.
A 1.8-1.9 60 foot will decrease your ET by .2-.4 tenths.
