What's a 4 bolt Vette block worth? I've got one laying around that I need to move and I don't know what it's worth. I sold a 2 bolt shortblock with .030" over pistons a while back for $200. I've got it listed in the for sale section for $350 but no one seems interested. I thought more people would have been asking about it by now. https://ls1tech.com/forums/lsx-parts-sale/689224-lt1-4-bolt-block-030-over-pass-fender-93-97-firebird-us-exotics-ram-air-hood.html |
nvm :gtfo: |
Just the block, or a shortblock? The 4-bolt blocks from a GMPP dealer are about $600 now, so I'd figure $250 for a used one that had not been re-bored previously. If it's been bored, I'd be surprised if you could get $150 for it. Jim |
not worth anything, but i'll haul it off off ya for free ;) |
Shame you're so far away. Shipping would be a killer. Sara Lou |

^I'm pretty sure they haven't been produced since sometime between 1999-2002. Forget which year exactly I was told. I sold my 4 bolt block for $450 a few months ago, it was standard bore and needed nothing. He was going to build a 396 short block with it. That is what I wanted to do, but had to sell the block for other financial reasons. |
Wide array of opinions! |
For a corvette 4 bolt non-splayed block, you should get 300-400 for it. I paid $400 for a previous one that I bought. |
