Believe me it sounds harder than it is. Try jacking it up with the mounts attached first. Just to get yourself a little more room. If its still too tight, take the bolt out of one motor mount then jack it up. I have installed 7 or 8 sets of LS1 headers and 3 sets of LT1 headers. Most recently LTs on my 97 Z28. This method works best for me
