Jesel rocker system fitment
My problem is this, the pushrods look like they're angled towards the front of the block going from the lifters up to the rockers, and it just doesn't look right to me because the angle. I'm not sure if they're suppose to go straight up to the rockers, or if a slight angle is allowable at all, don't want any bent pushrods when rapping it up to 7k rpm.
I've got a Jesel rocker system, comp series style rockers, with the tie-bar lifters, and sportsman series pushrods. I've got the heads installed and the rocker system as well, but had to take the rockers/lifters/pushrods out in order to get some work on the block done. I didn't label where each one came out of, didn't think it mattered very much, and didn't think to make a mental note or take a picture of how they looked installed.
Is this fine, or is there a major problem I need to figure out?

They are self aligning as far as I know, never had any guide plates with them. I think this also because the rockers are mounted onto the heads, and really have no way of altering the alignment of the pushrods.

Yes, all the pushrods are the same length. 7993 Jesel part number, 7.900 in length with .080 wall I think is the number. I took some pictures of the problem, but these boards won't let me post them up because they're too large, average of 170kb when this board only allows 100kb.

OK,
So did you test pushrod length after re-install? What block work was done?
If the block was decked, or even if different gaskets are thinner or thicker it might need different pushrods. I know Jessel includes a tool to align it for pushrod length checking, have you used this to see if everything is lined up?

I do think I need to get a pushrod length tool, so I can test the correct sizes. They evened up the deck, the guy said almost nothing was taken off, just evened up. The main block work was to plug the holes in the bottom that were created from doing the splayed 4-bolt mains, the shop that originally did the work drilled a little too deep and got into the water jackets.
