alocker,
I gather from your earlier posts that you went LT1 after your LS1 plans didn't work out. Terrific recovery, and nice job!
While you're answering questions about engine management, etc., care to share what fuze/relay block you've got mounted on the firewall? Any advice for those of us in the early stages of our adaptation projects? Thanks, in advance.

I did start collecting parts to do the LS1 swap, then I added everything up and I couldn't justify it. With the LT1, I could use my existing trans, mounts, headers, rad. So price was the concern. I also decided I didnt want to cut up the floor for the T56.
For management, I went with the stock 95 M6 PCM and had pretty much everything deleted from it. I modified the stock wiring harness myself just to become familiar with the circuitry. The fuse box is a $90.00 piece from current performance wiring. Its made for the LT1 LS1 swap and I feel its a lot nicer that have a few relays and fuses hanging off the harness. The instructions also helped with the wiring.
I agree that the MAF is ugly. The intake is just temporary. I plan on running a 90 off the TB down in front of the engine, then mount the MAF and then have the filter poking out underneath the radiator under all of the hot air. Its only a nice weather car, so it should be fine that way. That setup should clean it up.
My only advice for anyone attempting this is so solder and shrink wrap every connection. Oh yea, you can never have too many grounds either.
