Custom Radiator regarding coolant sensor??
The radiator he is using is http://store.summitracing.com/partde...5&autoview=sku
but of course its not setup for a Reverse cool setup. So I plan on having Griffin weld on a 6an fitting under the radiator cap (Steam line setup since I am running braided line from the back of the heads
) and on the bottom of the same side I want them to make a drain plug like this one http://www.rondavisradiators.com/O-RING-DRAIN-5.jpg or a 1/4 NPT with a Fitting I can pull out http://www.rondavisradiators.com/bung.jpgTo drain coolant from the radiator if needed.
I plan on bypassing the tranny cooler lines that are on the radiator so those will not be needed.
The Question is do I need the Coolant temperature Sensor on the radiator, the only thing its used for is to give you a WARNING LIGHT am I Correct???
The sensor in the Block (on the head or waterpump I can't remember) Controls the actual coolant level on the guage wether its 180 or 210 etc???
AM I CORRECT ON THIS, I want to order one up ASAP.
