Who's got the FASTEST... Who's got the fastest REAL street cars, lets say top 10? These are cars that are driven 100-200 miles per week EVERY WEEK (just so you know that's 5-10K miles a year). And what do your set ups looks like? Try to set it up as such... include mods on... Motor... Trans... Suspension... Wheels/tires... Interior... Electronics... I know we got some hella fast cars when it comes to pure speed, but of the cars out there prowling the street on a Tuesday night (not Saturday night, a weekend only car), what are you guys doing? |

i'd say someone is a little excited for their 402 ^^ some of us have slow low 11 sec daily drivers with a 383, medium cam and open headers. :( i want to be in the 10's cam only soon. |

10.48 @ 130 on a 150 shot...was my daily driver up until about a year ago...can still drive it anywhere. Added a dedicated fuel system and will be bumping the nitrous to a 250+ shot...car should easily see high 9's and not lose any of the driveability it has now |
Guess I'm the slowest of the bunch... :( ...12 year old LPE 383 short block, LPE/E.B Porting LT1 castings, Joe O. 226/234 cam, 3600 Vig/built 4L60E, Kooks stepped LTs, 3" TDs, Strange 12 bolt w/ 3.73s, Bogarts with 275 50 R15 M/T radials, Spohn bolt on suspension stuff, stock springs/shocks, stock fuel system Accel 30lb injectors...Times/race weight in sig..always N/A...car still has A/C, power steering, windows, etc...and I drive it about 5000 miles a year, no problems...last highway outing it got 20 mpg... --Alan |
