Default 12 Bolt

I'm thinking of getting one. Do they just bolt right up? Are there different types of 12 bolts and i have to get a certain one? Or are they all just the same?

the strange and moser 12 bolt are the same. they bolt right up and they have the same housing. the only difference is the name.

you get to pick which posi/locker you want (or a spool) and which gear ratio you want.

The Strange also allows you to keep your ABS. I bolted mine up in one afternoon by myself. If memory serves I had to get a third-gen universal joint for my 1LE driveshaft.

i probably have in the neighborhood of 310 hp at the wheels, i have a clutch that grabs slightly more than stock and has about 15-20 passes at the dragstrip on this car and the rear is starting to go, its making a lot of noise

i launched at the track on BFG KDW's so traction was limited even

im in the process of finding a 12 bolt for my car, im mainly going with the 12 bolt because i can retain my abs and i dont plan on beating it too hard at the track on slicks, for that i think the 12 bolt should suffice

i have been lookin around on ebay and stuff and theres like 12 bolts that come out of like 70's models oldsmobiles and novas and stuff....and they are alot cheaper than 2300 from that EPP guy lol. would those work with a nice rebuild and set of gears? by work i mean like bolt up without problems.

thoes 12 bolts came with leaf springs. you need an F-body derived 12 bolt housing with a torque arm provision, panhard, shock and control arms provisions.
