AFR 210's vs SR355

Ive got someone trying to sell me some AFR 210's with a comp port job. My question is will these heads work with my combination. I think Ive kind put the cart before the horse in my situation as ive already got a cam but not sure if it will match these heads. the specs on the cam are 254/261-636/636 on a 114 lsa. This is going in a 355 and will be reving to 7200, this is not a daily driver and not just a race car as the car will be drivin on the street as well. Im not after hp number on the dyno but rather trying to get the most out of my combo of parts to run 10's or better. What do you guys think?

AFR recommended staying with the 195's on my 355 street/road race car. The tech said that since I was also useing it for the street to stay with the 195's. If I had just a dedicated race car, he would recommend the 210's. My cam specs are very close to yours as well (253/259 .640"/.640" 108+4).

From doing a search, it looks like the only thing that my hurt is the lower rpm but nothing a gear swap wouldnt take care of. Also compression will be in the 12's with a dcr close to 9.0. Am i missing anything else?

What are you going to be using for exhaust? For something like that I'd almost have to say that you would need stepped headers 1 3/4"-1 7/8" and 3" true dual exhaust, but don't quote me on that. Also with 210 AFRs send your intake to AI or LE and have it ported to match the heads, it will make a big difference. Also are you A4 or M6? I'd assume M6 but if not you are going to need a big stall for the A4, mine is way too small for my CC306 which is about .540 .570 lift with 1.6 rockers, if I could do it over I would have got a 3600 Vig at the very least, but I do mostly street driving with an occasional race on the side :D For something like that cam I'd say at least a 4000, but if your M6 just throw some 4.30s in the rear and you should have a badass street setup if you could get it to hook.

Ok I'm done rambling, and again I don't know too much about weather or not the 210s would be too big for the street or not but there are some guys running LE3s or AI 200s on the street with good results

*EDIT* N/M the A4-M6 stuff, I just read in your sig pro 5.0 shifter :chug:

You're going to need a decent set of heads with a cam like that. The 210's should be fine.
