Took my car to the track and it felt not normal....
i took my car to the track tonight and it was running bad... i would start my burnout then it would just seem like the rpms would drop to 2k during the burnout for no reason....... then i took my pass and it accelerated like junk and was just noit running as hard as it should.... lat week i ran a 14.0 at 101mph this week i ran a 14.0 at 99mph..... wats going on?? i think it may be tranny related but i am not sure and ideas???

i dn the car felt like it wasnt running full power.... the beginning of each burnout felt great and then like 2-3 sec into it it felt like the car was dying... rpms dropped to like 2k for no reason.... then i pulled up and took my run and it felt like it accelerated like junk.... i dn i took it for a ride today and got on it and it all felt fine... i dn what was up... maybe it as just the weather.. tires getting hot and sticking... and/or just my mind.. i dn i think i am going to do a tranny flush on it... and a fuel injector service and then head back up to the track in 2 weeks and see if it is better

I WOULDNT DO A TRANNY FLUSH !!.Id really think that over if your car has many miles on it .Ive known people that have had theres flushed and soon after was buying a new tranny.Im betting its prolly this weather if its feeling like a snail thats how ours acts.

I've done the in the tank injector cleaners. Nothing bad happened, but I did not see too much improvement. But I did not have problems, I just do it as a maintenence thing, (lazy way out I guess). You would be amazed at how the weather affects hp and track times. Im not saying that is your problem, maybe, maybe not, but it can be a big factor.

yeah weather can kill your car at the track, i know it did mine. but if its feeling fine right now dont mess with it i would just put some injector cleaner in the tank and let it run though it.. doing a trany flush is not a good idea it will star junk up that you dont want in your trany. if your worried about it just drop the pan and take a look at the fluid and see if there is any metal flakes in it and make sure not burnt, put a new filter on it and put some more fluid in it.....
