Default Studding the Mains and Changing Rod Bolts

Planning on doing heads cam in a couple months and would like to know what all is involved in studding the mains and replacing the rod bolts with arp hardware? Is this something I can do with the engine in the car? will I have to get the assembly balaced after this? all info or guides appreciated

main studs no problem, just thread them in. But, the rods will need to be resized after installing new bolts.

LSx motors with cap screws on the rods, can be changed out in the car (or without being taken apart) with no resizing being done.

something about the rod bolt's press fit, somewhat distorts the big-end of the rod a hair, and you need to resize them first.

main studs? no different than stock bolts. although I would imagine Ideally, you would want to line hone the main bearing bores during a rebuild if you were doing this.
