One more reason to own a b-body, I can see and reach my motor, more than just the very top. I can sit on the core support and put my feet on the swaybar to work on say injectors or the like with the radiator, fans and WP all in place.

The b-body hood is no problem, can pull the motor without even unclipping the struts. A friend has an LT1 in a third gen and it is still a PITA to work on, much better than a fourth gen but not as nice as the b-bodies.

A B-body has as much room under the hood as a truck. Back when I had mine I remember thinking that a big block would probably look right at home in there.

Dwayne on my Y-body I can pull the engine without removing the hood, radiator etc, but getting to some of the spark plugs is a biyotch.
I watched a kid change the opti, plugs wires, install headers, etc; and the bystander trauma was so bad I believe I'll never buy a 4th Gen even if it's an LS car. I've been looking at the new C6s, C5 Z06s and the GTOs. I wish I had the money for a STS-V, maybe I'll settle for the CTS-V
