1995' 5.7 in a 1999 Escalade?? I have a couple questions. I have a 99 Cadilac Escalade that has a 5.7 vortech in it. I also have a spare motor laying around that was pulled from a 95 GMC Yukon. It is not a vortech though. Will I be able to just swap intakes and slap this 95 motor in the 99? I know the accessories will have to be swapped but pretty sure all those will bolt up correct. Just not sure if the motor itself is the same or not. I was thinking I was going to have to wap the heads also but was told there is no reason to do so. The bad thing is I can not use the heads off the 99 motor, they are bad. Car has been sitting a little over 2 years and not in good health at all.
