Feedback from where, please. I am not trying to be a downer, but I do not trust something that is half the price of the current market.

god forbid someone finds a deal. ebay has its advantages and disadvantages. look the the seller feedback. zones isnt the only buyer of an opti from them. there are multiple buyers and with as many people that are on these message boards im sure someone would have posted this up before if they had a bad incounter....zones did u ask them if it was a true gm opti before you did buy it?

Well, i called and left a message, he never got back to me, but not everyone wants to call somone long distance, as said, his feedback looks good so i am not gonna worry, 25 pages of feed back that looked great. 770 positive feed back, 6 or 7 negative. I think ill be ok. I need it to be ok for my sanity, i have had the car sitting more than it has been running since i bought it.

Feedback usually only implies immediate satisfaction.
It doesn't reflect longevity of components sold and that kind of satisfaction.

very true, but the fact that its being advertised as a GM-Opti and brand new at that, one should be able to tell once it arrives. and if it is a true gm-opti, im sure it will last for along time....

How much would I spend on a Opti? $500, the price I paid for my MSD unit, and I would pay it again for my other LT1 when that ones opti goes out.

For his power level and amount of RPM's he turns he will probably be fine.

Most likely not a genuine AC Delco unit.. but for the price??

Would I suggest it for a heads/cam car? probably not...

Not exactly. It means that it is licensed by AC Delco, which is not quite the same thing. The actual manufacturing plant can be anywhere, and I still supsect it is in China.
