what brand bearing would you buy any help

Default what brand bearing would you buy any help

im going to rebuild my lt1 engine and i have sealed power speed pro crank and rod bearing in right now.

what brand would you use and is there any diffrence between these brands

sealed power speed pro competion.
king hp
clevite h series

and what would you run as a cam bearings..

thanks everyone

and the reason for rebuild is i got oil on the engine and im tearing it down to clean and repowder coat... can i use the old bearing. i dont think i can but im making sure...

clevite h series..........dura bond high performance cam bearings..........done lol

which cam bearing would you buy the chp8, chp8t of the dura bond brand and is sbc the same as lt1 cam bearing?

for a guy that owns a TT+n20 car... you surely need to brush up on your engine components. A lot.

chp8 unless you think you need a teflon coated bearing then go with chp8t.

chp8........no need for teflon coated bearings........waste of $$........if it was a 2500hp 9500rpm dragster that needed one extra chance cause of a possible oil starvation or metal on metal contact for some reason id use teflon coated bearings in any of our applications IMO its a waste of money

thanks every one. i usually just buy them from tpis and build the engine. i actually want to get my hands wet and learn. i usually just buy the nicest ones on the market and use them not knowing if they were a waiste of money or not but thanks every one for ur input....but you cant learn if you dont ask....

i made $90k until a couple years ago. now i make $35 to $40k. so i really never tried to learn until money got a little harder to get lol..but you dont need to know if you got money....

i just dont know the diffrence in brands i run pro speed bearinga and there is alot more brands out there. im just trying to learn.

I wouldn't say you don't need to know if you got money. I think it is a personal preference on whether you want to know or not. I have money but I want to know.

was going to message you in the morning on that actually.......all the parts are here.......blocks going in for its surgery tomorrow should have it back thursday or friday.......check it all assemble it next weekend and then its off to texas

sounds good, no rush again...the rest of the car won't be done for a hot minute... oh well though, I dont even know what the pile of boxes looks like waiting for me in the garage... one more friggen week...




anyways, yea. bearings are good... and slippery and stuff...
