OMG it's green ;) Well the car finally came back from the body shop a week ago. The German Castrol in the car had been in there since last October IIRC. It was stored from November, to pretty much July when it went to the body shop. With about 1000 miles on the oil, I figured it would be a good idea to change it out, for the remainder of the season ready for storage. I had two bottles of Green GC in my stash, so I snapped a picture. My friend though I was pouring antifreeze in the engine :) https://img292.imageshack.us/img292/...hegreenxa9.jpg |

It's always been green hasn't it or have they reformulated it? |

Anything until and including M05010xxxx date code on the bottom of German Castrol indicates it's color is green. Anything after the color was changed to Gold. Formulation of Gold is a touch different, but still just as good. Hawk yes 0w30. Only flavor German Castrol Comes in. |

I had a real PITA time getting my dipstick tube back in after I did my oil pan gasket. Not sure why I pulled it out in the first place, but it leaked after I put it back in. After destroying two stock tubes, I got mad and bought that. I didn't want to spend $30 on new header gaskets just to pull the pass side to put the dipstick back in. |
