wiring Q's

ok,so i am just getting around to wiring up my e-waterpump. im wondering if im going to need a voltometer to find a 12volt source or is there another way? my chilton doesnt have voltage specs but i have found a few labels such as "ignition ctrl" & "ignition". will anything thats labeled "hot in run,test or start" or "hot in run or acc" work as the "keyed" source?

It's going to be kinda hard to any electrical work if you don't even have a volt/multimeter.

You can one for like $15-$20.

Wired mine to the orange connector in the fuse box, I believe its like 10 volts, my buddy did a lot of the splicing and wiring so I really couldnt tell you more

Red = Constant 12v source
Pink = Switched 12v Source

Your underhood fuse box should be just fine to run a power, then just ground on the radiator support.
