11's possible,stall and 3.73 gears?

i have a 94 z28 with cc503, homeported heads, all boltons, tci 2500 stall, and stock 3.23 gears. my goal is to hit 11's on the motor and possibally 10's w/ nitrous. My best time so far is.
1.82 60 ft
7.98 @ 90.44 1/8 mile
12.37@ 113.16 1/4 mile
I want to upgrade to 3200 -3500 stall and 3.73 gears, that would easily net me 11's i would think. i am very pleased with how the car runs now and was expecting mid to high 12's, w/ still having stock gears and not much better than a stock stall. What do ya'll recommend to get me into the 11's N/A.???

your on the right track with a better stall and gears. maybe even 3.90 gears would benefit more for the 11's. 113mph is definetly capable of 11's with an amazing run

A quality 3200 stall and 3.73 gears w/ good tires would most definatly get you your 11 sec pass.

Keep up the good work, its always nice to see another stock cube all motor LT1 that isn't over cammed...and it shows.

You have a carbon copy of a buddy of mines car. He is running the cc503, ported stock heads, bolt-ons, some weight reduction. He has a bigger stall, and 3.73's and guess what? He is running high 11's. Do it!

Do not cheap out on a stall!

If you buy a cheapy stall, and then drive a different car with a qaulity stall you can tell wich is better

Stall is the biggest mistake people make a money cut on!

thanks for the comments guys. Yeah i would have gone with a bigger stall, but i got this stall when my car was only bolton's. i actually kinda like how the car drives with small stall it drives like damn near stock and gets 23mpg highway.i'm still on the fence whether to upgrade or not, only time will tell, but i am deffinately getting 3.73 gears, and lighten it up a bit, the car weighs 3600 lbs with me in it.

i had the cc503 with unported heads, long tubes, 3600 stall, 3.73's and suspension and went 11.70's on motor and 10.70's on a 150 shot.

wow was that at full weight? Once I get the SS3600 I'll have the same setup, Id go crazy if I ran an 11.70.

You def have a shot at hitting 11's without doubt if your trapping that speed and are running 12.3's with only a 2500 stall and 3.23's.
