No gauge no ignition No Start When turn the key.. HELP!!!!!

Unhappy No gauge no ignition No Start When turn the key.. HELP!!!!!

Today its dead absolutely.. I tried to start there is Gauge seen but when Start it, it slip away..
No gauge light. After couple of try it Gone and never seen again. But Sound system or lights work good. When I turn on key nothing happens.. No reaction. So cannot start engine!!!!!
Any ideas??
I noticed When I turn key on power comes to dvd player it works.. but the Gauge has..
I think problem not related with battery connection..

Probably something ignition related. Battery being the most likely cause one way or another. Try jump starting it. If it fires up then you know you probably have a battery that is on the way out as it may have enough juice to run your accesories but not turn the car over. Could be from a bad alternator which in turn can cause your battery to go out pre-maturely as well. Check your ignition coil as well including the plug wire that goes to it. Also, you might want to try to have someone under the car and bang on the starter with a wrench as you try to start it as this is a trick to get your starter to kick over if it is bad. My guess is that the most likely problem lies somewhere in the ideas I just listed. Past that you are stepping into the much more unlikely and much more greater possiblities on what it might be.

Check your maxi fuses leading away from your fuse block under the hood.

Hi guys.
Thanks for your responses..

I called car electrician. He said it might be .. Socket something related with key.. It must be changed.. I dont understand but thats what he said.

ignition switch! on top of the steering column, Im almost certain. Took me about 3 hours to fix and wasnt that much of a PITA, just take your time.

i had a stripped battery terminal bolt causing me some confusion... once i noticed it, i replaced the stripped bolt and battery and that turned out to be the whole problem
