Default Heres the deal!!!!!!

I found a local thats got a 95 Camaro LT1 not sure on the tranny yet with over 150,000 on the clicker. My dad has seen this car and said it looks pretty good guy said it uses a little oil and is completely stock, thats not a problem it should be using a little bit of oil at that mileage. I think i could probably get this car for $1000 cash right now. Now if i do go get it, its more than likely not gonna be a street car, thats what the truck is for!!! I woud like to know what the motor would be worth as it still runs and i would be swapping it to a LS motor. I think this would be better on me because i wouldnt sacrifice my ability to get to work as i am with my truck right now, so i think the modding has pretty much stopped on the truck if i get this car. Should i buy this or not? i think it would be stupid to pass it up personally. I already have a 97 SS hood for it if i get it

Sure, I would take it. Hows the condition on it?? Although I would build up the lt1 instead of swapping to an ls1 but thats just me. I think it would be cheaper.

Your LT1 motor is not worth much with 150k on it, maybe $400 to $500. You will get more if you are including the computer and harness. Also, plan on spending $6k or $7k to put a LS1 in your 95.

I would buy it and build it. I run mid 11's with bolt ons, a 125 shot and no weight reduction.
