weight question...

2 questions, just firgured i would put them into one post instead of making two...

first, does anyone know what the weight split is on a z28? u know like some cars are 50/50.... what is a camaro?

also.. what is the weight diff between a '94 z28 T-top and '94 z28 hard top?

T-Top should weigh more, due to the glass.

The weight distribution I think on our cars (FBody) is actually pretty good for 4th gens with how far back our motor sits. I vaguely remember a discussion here about that, and it's something like 55/45.

I do. If you have a T-Top, I'd weigh one, then x2 and that'd be a fair amount on what it is. The sheet metal that's removed in their stead is not but maybe 3lbs each side (2lbs I think is more like it).

a ttop weighs like 15 lbs. x2 is 30 lbs... and the distribution is 55/45 what he said^^
