ABS INOP light
My car had the ABS inop light come on about 2 months ago after I did my Delteq conversion. It has been in storage and I'm looking to get it out when the weather warms up a bit. It shows code 78 for a RF Wheel sensor voltage spike. I have tested nearly everything the service manual has suggested, but I have not had anything work. Any ideas?

You can try to disconnect the battery and see if it clears and stays off ,but you will probably need a front sensor which if memory serves me right is the front hub assembly . I would also check the wires to make sure none of them are damaged.

OK, I'll put it on the rack at work tonight and check it out. The ABS does not function with the light being on. Being next to the manifolds is a good possibility. The Front Wheel Bearings are in good condition, no play or noises. I tried unplugging the battery, but the light is off when I start my car and it turns on whenever it decides to do the first ABS test. I have a whole extra motor pack unit in good working condition off a 95. I don't want to put it in because I would rather delete it if the motor pack is bad. When I did the restoration, all the suspension and driveline parts were gone through carefully, checked, and reassembled. Nothing seemed to be to incorrect or loose. This was about 7K miles ago. The light just came on before I put it away for the worst winter months. It might have 500 miles on it with the light on.
