lt1 guy's

Guy's working on the swap of 1995 lt1 in my 69 camaro, now I'm on fans,I'm thinking on the 95 the temp sensor is on front of the motor, what is the sensor on the drivers side head down low toward front of motor, and also on passenger side there seem's to be a sensor on the radiator.Getting close to finishing this up guy's thanks for the info.THANKS!

The coolant temp sensor is on the drivers side head. Which sensor are you talkin about on the front of the motor? Maybe Cam position sensor? The sensor on the radiator is probably the Coolant level sensor. The sensor on the passanger side of the motor in the block is the knock sensor.

Thanks for the reply, but according to a manual I looked at this morning on the 95 lt1's it was on front of motor,I'm new to the lt1's so I was just curious if you had any more input on this because some thing's funny going on when I pull the plug out of the temp sensor in front the fan's come on when I stick the plug back in they run for a second and quit may be a bad sensor?THANKS FOR THE HELP!

is there anyway to get a picture of the sensor?

There are actually two coolant temp sensors. The one in the drivers side head is used for the dash gauge, the other one is on the waterpump and is used by the computer.
