Default D u all think my stock 10 bolt will last me this season?

what do u guys think? i plan to have a very lengthy and rigerous schedule this year? do u think my stock 10 bolt will be able to take the pain?

mods in sig plus a CPT Pro race rebuild to my 4l60e and a 3500 vig TC...

say about 20 trips to the track....

i kno its a luck thing but i want to see what everyone thinks..

Well we don't know the mileage you've got on the car (rear specifically), or your gear ratio, but I personally don't think you have enough mods to break a 10bolt with an A4. Hell, you don't even have the thing tuned, unless your sig is vastly out of date.

It will make it auto cars don't break rears like manual cars. Unless your using a transbrake and running slicks.

There's never any guarantees with the 10 bolts, but you will probably be fine.

There is no way to predict a 10bolts life, seriously. Some last and some dont.

I have plans to pick a moser up here in the next few weeks, but until then ima see what 700rw does to the stock one.

you'll be fine aslong as you dont wheel hop. A4's and 10bolts go together like lamb and tunafish

You'll be fine. I saw a guy break one but he was an heavily modded M6. Your Auto should be fine.

It all depends on how much and how hard you launch your car.
I'm still on my stock 10 bolt and knock on wood..it's still holding up well even on spray and big tires. Check video below in my sig.

yea u dont launch her hard at all huh? i usually launch pretty hard so i can get a decent 60ft with only boltons... but i think i am going to launch off idle or a lil above idle this season with the 3500vig.... but im not sure yet... i usually launch hard tho.... stomp it not ease into it

go for it,i have seen them last for a longtime,i have also seen them blow up on the first launch. with a 10-bolt it is luck of the draw in my book.
when you do your burn-out try to not let it chirp the tires when finishing that stresses the gear ALOT as far as flex

Bolt-on auto on DRs with a 3500 stall and 3.23s ? ... should be just fine.

As with anything in drag racing ... you could end up towing it home.
Could break on the first launch, could break showing off on the street after 20 sucessful trips to the track.

<300rwhp with an auto, so it should be fine like many others have said. If you are really worried about it you could check the backlash/pattern just to be safe. Wheelhop will kill it in no time though so make sure that doesn't happen.

Talking stock lt-1

i would put some lower control arms on it, a panhard bar and maybe a billett t/a cover on the rear. i'm running stock......315 hp ram air, race built 4l60-e and 3.23 gears and nitto DR's. keep the wheehop to a min and it should hold up. i think 10 bolts are fine for up to 350 hp or so,but once you excede that even with an A-4 you start having trouble. there sure not made to take 4000 rpm stick shift lanuches and to much modding, you better look for a 12 bolt. it's a dam shame the factory didn't put them in. they should have definitly gone in the LS-1 cars with 345 hp....................RON
