headers or juice?

I did nitrous before headers (which are going on with cam and stall soon) and it kicks ***.

Just depends on what you want to do. Want to kick his ***? Nitrous. Want to move up a car maybe 2? Headers.

You don't need better breathing beforehand, but it would work ALOT smoother with headers.

If your looking to beat that mustang the botttle is the way to go. A guy made it in gmht magizine running 10.9's with stock manifolds and throttle body. It's his money I voiced my opinion. I maid it in the 11's with stock manifolds and a flowmaster catback. So I think a stock motor can breath enough for the bottle.

Thats the way i went. Nitrous is the best et gain. When I put the cam, headers and went up to the 3600 stall I picked up another second.

I got them coated, I have had them for about coming up ona year now, no problems what so ever. I have a guy down the street who also has them drive his car everything and he does not have any problems at all. But I got them for 375 shipped in two days to my door.

True, I was if I was going to do it then go with headers, but BEST BANG FOR YOUR BUCK is the nitrous.

Not too bad of a deal then. Most places I see, want $400+shipping for coated ones. I've just heard that it's hit or miss with Pacesetter's coating.

whate did you get those for 375? i was seeing 450 or so. i know nitrous is the best bang for your buck. i also know that the better an engine breathes the better it will perform. im not looking to embarass him, i mean he did work on the car for two years on the weekends. i was with him the other night and we found a 00' ta with longtubes, no cats, exhaust and a lid. he got pulled by the ta but this stang isnt tuned at all its completley stock with a turbo for another week. but by reading all of this input i think i would like to wake all my neighborhood up a 7 am everyday! im still going to do some thinkin about it. also did you install your own headers? i can get my car in a shop with a lift for free... i just dont know how my welds will seal exhaust, im a lil rusty on laying beads, lol.

OP I installed my own headers passanger side was BITCH but that is the only thing I have to complain about.
