Exhaust Rattling

Exhaust Rattling
I noticed when I would be moving slow as like in a parking lot I could hear my exhaust hitting against something. I got under today and saw that it's hitting against the crossmember and maybe the dsl too but I'm not sure on that. What would you recommend I do stop it from hitting. Maybe put some kind of rubber or something between?

oh man that's a tough call... it sounds to me like you'll have to rig up something custom to fix it, or modify the piping. on my '78 i had that problem because after the custom piping, i put bigger mufflers on it than what it was set up for. so every time i hit the brakes, the chassis/exhaust would flex and clip the D/S. what i decided to do was actually weld a metal rod on an exhaust clamp, pull the pipe away from the D/S with tension and weld the other side of the rod to the frame. hopefully yours won't be that complicated haha.

I have gotten away with using a high temp foam to cushion the exhaust from hitting things before. You would be best to custom rig or change the pipe in some way to make it clear better.

On the 93, I had the pipes bent just right to avoid hitting anything.
If you don't have enough room to do that, use the wrap.
