I need to take it around on the street (which is tough with how loud it is) and get it shifting. It feels like it completely skips second gear. When I shift it to 2nd it stays in first..... I plan on having my guy look at it but I can't guarantee what I'll need to do if the tranny has to come out...... I'm praying it doesn't......

Hope to make some passes on Friday to see how things are gonna work. I still need to install the crossmember (BMR piece that relocates the TQ arm) and finish the nitrous kit install. I got the Wolf sway bar welded in and I still need to adjust it. I still have to weld the passanger door bar for the cage. (can I run a 5 point cage into the 10s?) Just some small details!

I am still trying to figure out my damn ignition issue, car keeps laying over. Got one solid 1/8th mile pass of 7.1 at 100mph on my lowest boost settting(8lbs) without launching it hard(trying to save the rear for the shootout. If I can get it figured out, I'll be turning it up to 16-18lbs for the shootout.

53 are pre-registered right now. Some have backed out but I am sure others will just show up and race with-out pre-registering.

Should not be packed by any means.

I was hoping the entry list would be over 100 by now. Maybe we'll get a lot of on-site entries and push the numbers up some for the event.

I had really wanted to make it out but the money that I will spend driving out there and then I'm scared to make runs without a better rear end! Looks like I'll just be sitting at home waiting for pics from everyone else.

Haven't checked the track, but we did get rained out after about 1 1/2 hours on Wednesday. I believe Friday and Saturday this weekend will be cancelled also, hopefully the midwest shootout will still be on Sunday.

Heading to San Antonio Raceway in just a few hours for last few passes of test and tune.

Goal is to get some more practice and seat time with my new combo... without breaking anything. (knocks on wood )

Outlaw get her fixed man!

I'm trying... Unfortunately i'm at the mercy of the transmission guy and parts availability. The second gear band is jacked..... He's gotta pull some kinda drum out of there and replace it and the band i think from what he said.... so we'll see what he has done by monday....

Good question! I think KCIR is near a river, or large creek. Some of you local Mizzo guys need to post-up.
