these cars can be that heavy. I have a freind here with a 99 WS6, all intact AC, ABC, etc. 4L80 swap and a 9", SFCs and a rollbar, 10lb nitrous tank. With gas and him in it (hes 185lbs) it weighs 4080, and thats with an LS1. My car weighs 3760 and its got no ac, no abs. If the guy is ~250lbs it can get up there fast

I will just answer the weight issue once. The car with everything from the factory even spare tire and jack. Plus Kenney Brown subframes, lower control arms, strange 12bolt, nitrous bottle , sound system with subs, 17 inch ZR-1 wheels with 275/40/ and half tank of gas weighed 3840#. I weigh 255 #s give or take a few. The day i went to the track the car had a full tank of E-85 . I wanted to make sure i could make the trip to the track ,race then make the drive back home and not run out of gas. I don't know what to tell the people that think i am making up the weight of the car, trust me i would like the car to weigh less but i will not cut and hack on the car.

I hope you run faster than 116 with a strocker However i am still on the stock untouched bottom end. Garys car from what i remember still has the stock 10bolt and not sure if he took weight out or not. Garys weight, not sure and how much gas was in the car.I am not sure what your talking about with Joe i haven't spoke to him in almost 3 years. Sounds to me like you can't let the past die. Well, it doesn't seem you have changed much at all over the years.

Thanks man, the car is fun to drive anywhere still does good on gas and looks like a stock vert. I never built this car for the strip it is just a street car.
