LT1 won't start

hey everyone. I'm new to the site, and upon doing a bit of research, you guys have come highly recommended. Here's my issue; I've got a 1994 Firebird Formula with an LT1 and a 6-speed. I was cruising in it the other day, and it just died... All of a sudden...

The motor will still crank over, no problems there. Turn the key to the "on" position, and I can hear the fuel pump fire up. (it was also replaced several years ago)

I replaced the fuel pump relay since I had an extra, and no fix...

I then figured it would be spark... I replaced the ignition coil today, still no go... I replaced my Opti with a Vented MSD opti last summer, and it's got less than 2000 miles on it, so I wouldn't think it's a problem.

So, she's got gas, and although I haven't tested spark from a plug yet, I can only assume that it's got decent spark since the coil, and opti are brand new, so why will it turn over, but not start? Anyone had to solve this problem before?

Thanks everyone! Looking forward to swappin' stories!

i'd definately start by checking spark at the plugs. if your not getting it there it'll point you in the right direction

Are you sure you have gas in the tank??

You should check all the fuses too.

your fuel pump can turn on but not be pumping, so don't rule that out.

Need to physically check fuel pressure, then get a noid light and check if the injectors are getting a signal to pulse, then make sure you're getting spark. Can be anything from a clogged fuel filter to a bad opti to just a bad TPS sensor
