All I've done it rear seats, spare tire, and jack. Those are the easiest I can think of. Oh and the front sway bar. Good for drag racing, but if you enjoy hittin the twisties, don't do it. My car with no front sway and QA1s handles like a cruise ship.

I don't think there is much you can remove from the inside or outside that won't affect safety or comfort.

The spare comes to mind, after that... Lexan side and rear windows are doable. Though that isn't exactly bolt on.

all I removed on my 95 was the jack+spare, foglights, traction control, cruise control, and all the a/c stuff. theres stuff you can take out if you do not want it but its not easy. My car weighed 3400 with 3/4 tank of gas and me in it, but i only weigh about 130...

I removed:
-Front and rear bumper supports........ ~40 lbs for both of them
-A/C ****....................................... ~40 lbs
-AIR pump...................................... ~next to nothing
-Front sway.................................... ~15 lbs
-Jack & spare.................................. ~35 lbs

Then at the track I pull my rear seat and passenger seat. I'm not sure how accurate my weights are because my scale i have here at home sucks. The one thing I know of for sure is all that stuff I took out weighs quite a bit.

Yeah I was disappointed when I took my AIR pump out, I'm used to the old belt driven units that weight a bunch, but plastic electric unit weighs just about nothing.

Deleting ABS gets you about 15 lbs. There is a list on here somewhere with what stuff weighs.

Must be nice to live up North for some of you guys and be happy to pull your A/C out.

I am assuming that he pulled the pad out at least underneath.

this is what I have done so far.
1-spare tire & jack
2-hatch plastic cover
3-rear seat
4-rear seatbelts
5-carpet with insulation and replaced for lightweight .
6-front doors speakers with the base where they bolt on
7-front bumper support with front absorber
8-factory antenna and amp are out too

I'm planning to do way more but leaving a factory look.

all the power options and abs willbe keep on the car.

so far the car had lost around 150 pound or more.
do a little search on this site. you will find a lot o usefull information.

good luck

I'd been told the bumper supports aren't a good idea for a street driven car, I am contemplating taking the bars out of the doors though, as my roll bar will be installed shortly.

Anyone cut the brackets off the floor where the rear seat used to bolt to? Curious as to what those weigh, I'm always wondering as they stick up, and as mentioned the rear seat itself doesn't really weigh much..... So its kinda like put the seat back in minus seatbelts or find a way to make it look less funky there, and yes I'm aware there are seat delete kits, but why put more stuff back in? I am enjoying the storage space, so I wonder if anyone has gone that extra step and cut the metal out there.
