Lt's and cats who here is running cats with their long tube headers? ive got a 94 t/a single cat and want to install LT's and a y-pipe, but i want to keep the cat, or add two small "cats" so i can pass visual emissions inspection (sucks not working at a garage anymore, and having someone else do something you have a license for). also can i see pictures of your y-pipe set up, and possible engine shots with the LT's to see how much more room there may me. thanks. aaron |
I do not know if your state is like California but I have been told that moving the cats from the stock location is one of the reasons why long tubes help you fail the visiual inspection. |
i can get it to pass, i need cats there as a visual, to me it doesnt matter where they are located, it will pass dont worry. lol. i just want to know if anyone has cats on their LT y-pipe, or if they sell an on-road y-pipe for the LT's. thanks. aaron |
I have the Pacesetter long tubes headers with elctric cutouts and the dual cats, looking under the car you can easlysee the cats. (They didn't like seeing those Electric cutouts though) |
