Default lt1 coolant issue...HELP PLEASE!

Well I fixed the leak i asked about earlier and the car has been fine since then. Well this morning on the way home a heater hose busted and dumped all the coolant. I immediately cut the car off and coasted into the gas station i was right at. I took the hose off, cut it, put it back on and cinched the clamp down. I tried to fill it with water, but the radiator would keep going back down. I said **** it, drove it the block and a half home. NO problem. The low coolant light came on as i got in the driveway. I removed all the hoses and they appear good, the thermostat was removed when I got it. The wp is churning the water and no leaking from the weep hole. I re-attached all the hoses and its doing the same damn thing. Fill up the radiator and overflow, start the car, bleed the system. 30 seconds later low coolant light. Open the radiator and its a good 1-2" lower now. Any thoughts? The car isnt smoking at all and cranks and runs fine. Its a 95 formula. Thanks.
damn maybe i should just get an ls1 next time always something with these cars it seems.

Yes. But honestly, it never lasts long enough to bleed properly. Within a few seconds the water level starts dropping. I dont see any leaks on the hoses.

Fill and bleed it. No water coming out is is down, keep eye open for leaks.

Good luck

not to question your knowledge or ability... but did you take the cap off and let it pump for awhile to get the air out?

So is it staying full, or is the level still low?

It had been going low again, but it started pouring outside so I've yet to recheck it

Make sure that the heater core isn't leaking. I know it seems obvious, but just putting that out there in case you haven't thought of it. If I remember correctly when I had to refill my cooling system, I ran it without the cap, let the level go down, and filled it up a few times before I put the cap on and bled it.

My radiator had 4 big *** holes on the bottom and I never saw it leak to the floor. Just a thought. But my coolant loss is via headgaskets so this was irrelevant lol
