What's it worth?

I Have a 1995 Camaro Z28 A4 with 138K. The car recently passed smog with flying colors :thumb: It's just a base Z28 really.. Hardtop, 2.73s, cloth and bose cd. Car needs some body work I will be doing before it goes up for sale but I'm just looking at what I should be advertising it for.

Here's a picture to put the car into perspective

I doubt you'll get more than $2k. So I'd put it up as $2k or reasonable offer.

I figured around $2K or so. I forgot to add the car has a rebuilt trans also.

Well, the trans should help secure about $2K then. It's the paint that's killing it all heavily. I have gears you could use, but it's in an open carrier :\ 3-series, wouldn't work with yours.

I'm going to have everything that needs paint painted. Hood, Bumper cover, fender. it will look ALOT better once painted haha It's such an eyesore I bought a bra for it.

Oh I didn't notice that you had said you were getting it done. OK well that changes things then.

I would see if you can get a hold of a used 3-series carrier (93-02. 99-02 use a Torsen style, I like it more, I have it). Either with, or with out gears. If w/o I have 3.23s I'd sell you for $20 (+ship) with only 95K on the ring and pinion.

If you're technical enough, you can install it then cheap (probably re-use bearings wouldn't hurt much since selling).

Otherwise with paint (assuming it matches nice), I'd say you might now get $2,500~
