Default Cadillac Racing Lifters Spec?

What lift and spring pressures are the Cadillac racing lifters good for?

Also are they the same height as regular SBC factory hydraulic rollers? Crane says my stock replacements are not good for the amount of lift my cam makes. I hear good things about the caddy lifters and they're about $300 cheaper than the crane recommended replacements. Opinions?

This is for a 383 LT4.

They are great lifters for the price. The pushrod cups were a lot shallower than what the stock lifters were. The overall body of the lifter is the same height.

So did you need a different length pushrod than with the regular SBC roller lifters?

To bad he replaced two oil pumps and took the new heads off to find it out

Are they loose in the lifter bores? More oiling ports? I don't get it...

I have the lifters and like them. They are a little noisier than stock.
They are made for more stability at continued high RPMs.
If that is done through valving and springs I do not know.
The people a Scoggin-Dickey Chevrolet should know if you give them a telephone call.
