Question about EGR and AIR block-offs with race style headers

Default Question about EGR and AIR block-offs with race style headers

So, I'm going to be getting my exhaust completely redone with my Pacesetter LT's and true duals next week hopefully. My question is about the EGR and AIR removal. Will I only need the EGR block-off plates? I saw the AIR plugs, but those are just to plug the emissions fittings in exhaust manifolds or headers with the fittings aren't they? That's the way I took it atleast. I just want to get it all figured out before I order the stuff and get some stuff that I don't need.

yep just take off the pump and lines and install 2 block off plates.. pretty much it.
and good luck with the LTs i love mine

Yeah, I already got the race style headers last week. I just need to get some mufflers, block offs, and I'm waiting on my o2 extensions to get here. Then, I can take it to get all fabbed up. I'm hoping that the bill from the exhaust shop will be cheap enough that I can afford the tune right after I get it done. Either way, a tune will come within a couple weeks of getting the exhaust done. Thanks for your help guys.
