i noticed today when i rev between idle and 1500rpm and hold it for a few seconds, and let it idle again the voltage gauge will drop down between the red and the 12 volt 1/2 way mark. i have also noticed that it also is the same spot i have a slight miss/puttering at. anyone else had this happen to them?

oh, the alternator was rebuilt by a reputable starter/alternator place i have known for a few years. same for the starter.
