Maybe I'm reading wrong, but that oil pressure doesn't look bad. If your rpm is truly 900 rpm you still have 17 to 19psi at idle which is fine. Rule of thumb is 10psi per 1000rpm. What is your pressure like at cruising speeds?
And no bearings do not necessarily make noise when they fail.

what he is saying is that he just let it idle to get that picture... meaning his oil temp wasnt as high as it would be as if he had driven it, then let it idle ;)

I had my car out tonight and I paid attention to my gauge. Even at 600 RPM hot I am holding just barely under the first mark. I am glad I changed that oil pump spring.
