Car won't Start? P1626 Code?
 

Hey guys,

My car has been sitting for a little while and the battery died. I took it out and charged it and put it back in and tried to start the car and nothing the starter does not even make a noise. everything comes on and I notice the security light was blinking. I checked for codes and it was a P1626. The car ran fine before I parked it. Anyone have any Ideas?

I think i have narrowed it down to the lock cylinder on the steering column anyone else had a problem with this? Is it hard to replace or can the wires just be soldered back together if they are broken?

Just for everyone the Key switch is what the problem was, I just bypassed it with a resistor matching my key. it was a lot less expensive and a lot easier to put in.
