Stall converter upgrade
Stall converter upgrade Hi everyone, I'im looking to change my combo hoping for another tenth or so off my time. Car is a 95 z28 stock bottom end, local shop ported stock heads with a 503 cam, stock intake/throttle body, stock ten bolt with 3.73 gears and and a vigilante 3200 stall converter.
The car is currently running consistent 11.70s at 115.8 with the occasional dip into the 60s (hoping for better when the cooler air comes) but im stuck at a high 1.65 plus 60ft. My converter has been good to me the last couple of years but feels vry tight and im curious if I could chop at that 60 with a yank 4000.

I have an EDGE 3200 and can barely feel it..thats how well its setup..if I had known how it would feel I would have went 3600-4000...a good converter is worth the money...vigilante is a good brand but have heard some folks that dont like it
