IAC question ok i have been chasing a really bad idle with my car. my questions is, is there a way to put voltage to an iac off of the car to test if it is working or not? i was just messing with the car and noticed i can unplug the iac with the car idling and it has absolutely no affect on the way it idles. i did have to move the throttle blade a tad bit in order to get it to hold an idle. shouldnt there be some sort of change in idle characteristics with the dang thing unplugged?
