1.7rr?
I know Scorpion makes a 1.7RR. They are priced great and I have yet to find one complaint about them. Do a search if you don't want to take my word for it.

If you are going for the STEALTH approach 1.7s are great just as long as you have bolt-ons to compliment the added valve lift... if you buy 1.7s YOU DEFINATELY WILL NEED new valvesprings!
personally i would prefer to do an aftermarket cam with 1.6 rockers and of course valvesprings...

Rockers introduce "slop" when they magnify the lobe's shape.
The higher the ratio, the "sloppier" it gets and the more stress it puts on the valvetrain.
The hotcam was not designed to be used with 1.7 rockers, it was designed for 1.6.
You're probably not going to break anything, it's just not an optimized setup.
I did a few searches, I didn't find them for LT1s.

Yes, because nothing says "I'm stock" like big blue rockers with scorpions on them visible in the oil fill cap.
If you want stealth, get a cam with very little overlap and designed to work with stock rockers.
That will give you maximum performance without giving away the dirty little secrets
What you're doing here is trying to make additional performance "on the cheap"
I'm not saying there's anything wrong with that, just understand the pros and cons of the decision.

I made very good power with Scorpion 1.7's on a crane 227 cam and more recently on a cc305. Never had any issues with valve float pulling to 6200. Got mine to Flatlanderracing.com for $230, and you'll need good pushrods and guide plates.

I'm not sure how rollers are about this since they're CNCed, but with stamp steels the stock 1.5s are more like 1.4s and they almost all differ in actual ratio. Not to mention the ratio changes through out the lift of the rocker! IF CNCed exhibit the same problem, then running a 1.7 might actually net you closer to 1.65.
I know Crane makes some actual 1.6s that are 1.6 through out the lift. Those are stamped steels though, so just a little offtopic factoid.

1.6 Int/1.7 Exh are a common setup too though.

I don't think 1.7s and a LE2 setup would be happy together as the lift rates would be more than the springs can handle.
I'm getting ready to run 1.7rr's. It'll be on the stock cam though. I just need to get some better valve springs (I was told not to use the hotcam spring kit I got, even though the hotcam on 1.6's has a higher lift rating than the stocker on 1.7's), guide plates, pushrods, and probably lifters too. I was going to get the Scorpions, because I found a site where they were $222, but found a guy selling some Angus Racing 1.7RR's on camaroz28.com for $150, so I jumped on those.
