Rebuilding an old clutch disc.?? I've heard of some placing doing this, can it be done on a stock clutch disc.? It would be nice to have an extra one in the future, or do these companys only rebuild theres?? |
There are places that will resurface stock clutch discs. The nice thing about doing that is that you can specify what type of disc material you want. I had a disk for my '93Z LT1 resurfaced with Tribco from a guy Tulsa, OK. Find a good shop and you will be fine......all they have to do it rivet the new stuff on! http://www.tribco.com/ The thing you want to watch for is the springs. Make sure they are up to par or you are wasting your money. |
Yup im running a completely rebuilt clutch myself. Onlu took them about 15minutes to get it done too. |
