Rebuilding an old clutch disc.??

I've heard of some placing doing this, can it be done on a stock clutch disc.? It would be nice to have an extra one in the future, or do these companys only rebuild theres??

There are places that will resurface stock clutch discs. The nice thing about doing that is that you can specify what type of disc material you want. I had a disk for my '93Z LT1 resurfaced with Tribco from a guy Tulsa, OK. Find a good shop and you will be fine......all they have to do it rivet the new stuff on!

The thing you want to watch for is the springs. Make sure they are up to par or you are wasting your money.
