just did a t56 swap and put in a spec 3 + clutch it had 3k on it. i only drove it like 2 miles so far i need a tune and i know you cant slip it but how do you get a normal start with no bucking or wheel spin. maybe i just need practice and it makes it hard because it engages at the very top of the pedal just seeing how people drive them before i ruin mine

you said the clutch had 3K miles on it? did the flywheel as well?

may just need some break in time.


but the biggest thing is to just get used to it.

I drove mine like normal since day one. You have to slip and gas it but you have to do the minimum on both, not too much slipping and not too much gas. Youll get used to it.

I am able to take off from a stop and easily keep the RPM's at about 1500 and my car is cammed.

yes 3k on the flywheel also it has a 02 slave cyl that is pretty new too.yea mines cammed also i guess i just need some practice im used to a 1997 saturn that i can slip the hell out of it lol i noticed its hard to slip it but i can just the slightest bit is that bad or is that they way it should drive
