Default bleeding went bad...help!!

ok so i was going to bleed the slave on my car and i was tryin to test fit the socket onto the bleeder and i dont know what happened but it came out of my fingers and went into the cavity around the bleeder and im guessing its at the bottom of the bell housing...i looked around and was thinking maybe if i take the starter out can i get to the socket? any advice would be appreciated i would hate to have to pull the trans to get a dam socket out.

If your sure it in the bellhousing than the trans has to come out to get out the socket. On a side note are you sure that its not on the bleeder nut still.

Pull the starter and use a magnet. You should be able to fish it out.
