Arrow Hurst Shifter

This is most likely a very stupid question but i'll ask anyways.

One of my buddies will sell me his SS's old Hurst shifter for $20 everything. B/c his gotta new shifter and the hurst is just sitting the garage.

The question is yes it a good buy, but i absolutely do not know how to replace a shifter so i'd have to have it professionaly done by a shop, how expensive would that get? has anyone provided the parts for the shop and wanted them to do the labor?

Yes its a great buy and I wouldnt suggest paying somebody to do it. It took me a good 30 minutes to do mines. One of the easiest things ive ever done for my car. Just my two cents.

I'd buy it--well worth it. All you have to do is unbolt the old one and bolt the new one on. Really easy to do. I'm sure your buddy can help you if needed.
