Master cylinder problem?
I am having some issues with my clutch recently. I installed a new Ram slave and things seemed to get worse. It is a Ram powergrip HD.
First off the pedal feels great! Feels just the way it should. The problem is that the clutch will slip when its cold. WHen I am going down the highway in sixth and give it about half throttle it will slip. I do this about three times and then it will hold. It is really weird.
My question is; Do I have a clutch problem or do I have a mix of clutch and master cylinder problem? I am just curious because I do not want to replace the clutch alone and then it deterierate the new clutch because the master was faulty as well. I do plan on replaceing the clutch with the new monster clutch regaurdless in the next few weeks. I just don't want to spend the money on a nice clutch and it last two weeks due to faulty hydraulics.
Any advise would be greatly appreciated.
