How hard can I launch my 94 without breaking? obviously its opinions

Ive got a stock 94 TA with M6. This spring Im thinking of slapping on some radials or slicks and making a few passes. Im worried about breaking the rear end ,,, do you think a 3500rpm launch would bust the 3.42 10b if it dead hooks? I know anything can happen regardless but Id like a few opinions. thanks:drive:

as long as you dont get wheel hop. Once you get tire shake it will snap an axle and carrier.

I wouldn't try it....

Sure, it'll be fine. That is if the tires are spinning! Seriously though, you may find 3500 rpm won't be enough if it hooks. It'll probably lug the motor down You'll just have to play with it and get a feel for what the car wants.
The stock clutch will probably let go before the rearend will. The 7.5"/7.625" can take more than most give them credit for, but they won't take as much as the old 8.2's or 8.5's and definitely not the 12 bolt.
You might want to try it on the street tires first and play with feathering the clutch to see what the tires will take.

No way to say for sure . I've seen F body cars run low 11's - high 10's on stock diffs . I've also seen them pop running 13's . The more torque and the heavier the car is , the quicker it will pop .

The higher the RPM the better. RPM is your friend. More people do more clutch damage launching at 3500-4500 RPM and dead hooking than letting her rip at 6K.
